Ben Semanoff brings Steadicam motion, stabilization, and artistry right into your classroom! In an exciting and comprehensive one to two hour program, Ben Semanoff – an expert Steadicam Operator and Instructor - reveals the fascinating origins and evolution of Steadicam, the secrets of Steadicam technology, and - most importantly - the practical application of Steadicam in the art of filmmaking.
During the demonstration, a video camera mounted on the Steadicam transmits to the classroom TV. Students can watch Ben as well as real-time images from the video camera. As part of the demonstration, one student gets to try-out the Steadicam rig.
Steadicam Workshops can be conducted in conjunction with, or seperate from Steadicam Demonstrations. The Steadicam Student Workshop is an affordable, local workshop where students can explore rewarding careers as Steadicam operators or expand their practical, filmmaking knowledge.
